Investing.com - German service sector activity rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Markit Economics said that German Services PMI rose to 53.8, from 53.7 in the preceding month.

Analysts had expected German Services PMI to remain unchanged at 53.7 last month.
